The war on marijuana has ruined the lives of millions of innocent Americans. People have been put in jail, have their children taken from them and students losing federal funding for marijuana use. This harmless plant which has been proven harmless by perhaps hundreds of scientific studies. We the people have petitioned the government before and have only got lies and false statistics. The government cant hide behind their lies and propaganda forever. One day the government will be forced to legalize marijuana. When this day comes i petition the government to make a official apology statement to all of the destroyed life's of the people effected by the criminalization of marijuana. And to give these people some form of compensation. By doing so we can begin to obtain a truthful government.
