Every year, over 1.2 million students drop out of high school in the US- 7,000 kids EVERY DAY. The US now ranks 22 out of 27 in developed countries for graduation rates. Additionally, high school dropouts commit about 75% of crimes in the US. By requiring high school graduation, there is less potential for criminal activity, and more people entering the workforce to boost our economy.
