This petition serves to request that the Obama Administration immediately begin the process of enacting tough gun control legislation, which includes at least the following six items:
1. Require a 30-day waiting period for anyone wishing to purchase a firearm of any kind.
2. Require one to pass a psychological fitness test before being able to purchase a firearm of any kind. This should be paid for by the potential buyer.
3. Regulate or prohibit the private, person-to-person sale of firearms of any kind.
4. Enact or increase the liabilities of gun owners whose firearm has been involved in a crime.
5. Prohibit the private ownership of semi-automatic assault weapons of any kind.
6. Prohibit the possession or ownership of any clips capable of holding more than ten rounds.
