As the reading level of a large number of US citizens can not read above an 8th grade reading level (The Practice of Patient Education: A Case Study Approach By Barbara Klug Redman), I propose all bills brought before congress be written in common English at an 8th grade level.
As a citizen who tries to be informed and would like to know our legislators are acting in our best interests when presenting federal and state laws.
