Many larger companies are making major cutbacks. Unfortunately, the employees are typically the ones who feel the backlash first.
Though any reputable employer will offer vacation and holiday pay, we believe that, at the very least, businesses should be required to provide Five Eight hour days of paid sick time to its employees, given they employ at least 50 people.
