The current system of reporting ranges for the amounts of holdings is ridiculous especially since each year these numbers have to be collected for tax reporting. This includes holdings by a third party such as a trust. There is no reason that this information can not be detailed and accessible to the public. To ensure transparency all holdings by the Congressmen and their top three staffers should be in the public arena . To add to the tranparency their complete tax filings should be posted as well.
