Our laws are public and everyone must abide by them. Also, the people must decide who should be making the laws. Therefore, the people need to know what goes in to making these laws. If people are going to talk to our elected officials to influence the laws or other policy that everyone lives by, everyone must have the right to know what was said or done to influence those laws and policies.
