Require elected officials and goverment workers to participate in social security and medicare. remove the entitlements they enjoy. Do not give pensions and health care for life, require they pay a percentage of their health care and retirement like workeres all over the USA. Give them a credit to social security equivelant to what a private sector employee making the same wages would have paid into the system in the same amount of years.
