The Electoral College was implemented at a time when information was not readily available for the electorate. Our country has changed, through the internet and mass media, where this system is no longer necessary. Effective immediately, we the people request all Electoral Votes are assigned proportionately, beginning with the Electoral Votes being cast in six weeks time.
It is with the utmost respect for the Constitution that we ask this measure to be pressed forward, to ensure the peaceful transfer of power by guaranteeing the transfer is authorized and made possible by the people. The winner take all system undermines the electoral liberty our country has heralded since its founding.
