require all employers to provide paid maternity leave of 12 weeks at a pay rate of at least 80% of the woman's salary.

Created by K.M. on March 06, 2015

Paid maternity leave is something that is not offered by all employers in the US. For some women, they must file short term disability claims for any compensation while on leave. Being a mother is NOT a disability and should not be treated as such. Paid maternity leave is important for working mothers to have all or most of their income supplied while on maternity leave without use of personal/vacation/sick time. Help achieve this goal for all working mothers!
