I am a federal employee who is also a person with disabilities. Working in the government, I see such a diversity of workers, customers, and contractors. At times, there is a disconnect in employment, respect, and knowledge of accessibility laws.
If classroom diversity training is required in all federal agencies, maybe we can open more doors for discussions on how to educate ourselves on what accessibility means, what laws apply to equal opportunities and enforcement when violations occur.
