The majority of murders committed by firearms today are done by legally owned firearms. This petition is focused on passing a new gun legislation that would require all legally owned fire arms to be equipped with a tracking device that would detect or signal the proper authorities when it is leaving the premises of the owner's home. Its kind of like house arresting your firearm so that it can't be taken out of the house without proper authorization.
