Require that all gas stations have a backup generator to retain capablity in the event of a power failure.

Created by M.D. on February 11, 2013

All gas stations should have a backup generator in order to retain the capability of supplying fuel to the public in case of a power blackout.
The public and emergency service providers need access to fuel for their vehicles and for for the backup generators that they may be using at home and elsewhere.
Recent extreme weather events have resulted in the loss of electricity to millions of people.
The economic losses due to these blackouts has been exacerbated by the inability of gas stations to suppy fuel during a power blackout.
The installation of backup generators at all service stations will provide an improvement in our infrastructure and help stimulate the economy by the requirement of the production of more generators and their installation.
