We the people of the United States of America, have the right to know exactly what is in the food that we are consuming. Under the current FDA laws, they do not require the labeling of GMO's in foods. This means that the food we feed our families and young children may contain non-natural inorganic substances. Research has shown that GMO's can lead to cancer, miscarriages and health problems due to the use of dangerous chemicals and herbicides that are sprayed on the crops or used in the foods.
Currently, 62 countries around the world require food companies to label all genetically modified foods. The US is not one of them. President Obama, listen to the 1.3 million people who have already petitioned to the FDA regarding GMO labeling. Please, just label it.
