Currently, the initial claim for Disability with the Veterans Administration for service members leaving active duty service is taking an unreasonable amount of time to process (longer than 6 months).
This Petition is for the President to issue an Executive Order that Initial claims for Disability with the Veterans Administration will be fully processed within 180 days of the date listed on the service member's DD-214 as their completion of active duty service.
