Transgender individuals need access to care for their unique medical needs. As one of the populations in greatest danger of exploitation, discrimination, and poverty, providing safe and affordable healthcare nation-wide is a priority. That health care needs to include not just gender reassignment and top surgeries, but also things such as gender therapy, medications, facial electrolysis and feminization, and continuing visits to the OB/GYN for trans men who change their legal gender to male.
