The United States has some of the worst internet connection speeds available. The FCC has continually shown no attempt to combat this ever growing monopoly. Service providers like Comcast and AT&T seldom have any competition in their service areas letting then continually raise their prices without any improvement in their service. This law would be the first step in showing these service providers that the American consumer deserves equal treatment to our international counterparts. In addition it prove that we will not tolerate unfair price hikes, slow internet speeds, bad service, and no other options in internet access.
