Require that all job listings include a ratio of the highest paid employee to the average employee wage, inc. benefits.

The income disparity in America is out of hand. The reason the average wage of a CEO vs. the wage of the average employee has grown so much is that no mechanism exists to ensure that employees recoup a part of the fruits of their labor. Instead of requiring to do so, informing potential employees of what that ratio (i.e 500 to 1, CEO to avg. employee) will allow market forces to regulate the problem.

This would do just that, without regulating how companies do so. The most qualified candidates would necessarily choose companies that offer the most fair methods of earnings distribution, and thus, the competition for these candidates will drive companies to offer greater compensation packages while giving less to the highest wage earners.

It's time to stop hiding where the profits go.
