require that all Keystone XL Pipeline oil be reserved for domestic use and not for export.

Created by S.G. on February 15, 2012

The Keystone XL Pipeline, which has yet to be approved could potentially increase the domestic supply of crude oil to refineries located in the Gulf region of the United States. These refineries are often used for the export of oil to foreign nations. One of the strongest arguments for the building of the pipeline is the decrease our dependence on Middle East oil. To that end, I propose that the Obama Administration require that all the oil that is transported through this proposed pipeline be required to remain within the U.S. and not be allowed to be exported.
