Many people have been subpoenaed for jury duty or witness testimony. Jury duty and testifying in court are both forms of labor. As such, all those, who are subpoenaed to testify in court, as a non criminal witnesses, or compelled to jury duty, must be compensated in the same manner as any employee of the state. While there is sometimes compensation for jury duty, it is trivial and as such is in violation of minimum wage laws.
Therefore we, the Citizens of the United States, demand proper compensation, as per minimum wage laws as well as all other protections granted to employees of the state be granted to those citizens compelled to work for the court.
