Require all members of Congress to have a clear criminal record throughout their term

The members of congress have reportedly done the following crimes and more:
29 have been accused of spousal abuse,
7 have been arrested for fraud,
19 have been accused of writing bad checks,
117 have bankrupted at least two businesses,
3 have been arrested for assault, etc.
if our government is this corrupt, then how can we be assured of our safety and rights? If we make sure anyone in Congress get the justice given to anyone else, our government may become much better, much needed laws may be passed, and we will be one step closer to full equality.
