Our Federal government must take better care of our returning veterans. This petition would require any authorization of military force or appropriation for military activities include a re-entry plan (and appropriation when necessary) to include addressing veterans needs for medical care, housing, education, job training, and other appropriate needs.
If our country has the resources to wage war, we should have the resources to care for our veterans upon return.
Our authorizations for military force must include not only the military action itself, but should also contemplate the proper care for the military servicemen and women involved.
Congress should not authorize any military use of force without contemplating how we care for the brave Americans involved.
