Make it against the law for a mortgage company to charge more that 1.5% over current 30 year mortgage rates. By reducing all high interest mortgages to a more affordable fixed rate for all persons in this situation will free up large amounts of dollars for the economy; will slow down foreclousures and allow many to purchase empty homes which will eventually spur the housing construction industry.
