The goal is to get all remaining A-12 and SR-71 Blackbirds to be displayed indoors at museums. They are deteriorating rapidly outdoors in the elements and need to be preserved so they will still be around years from now for all to see and enjoy and not look like they are in disrepair and falling apart. The Blackbirds did a lot for the safety of this country and deserve the same respect as our Veterans. There are only a total of 30 Blackbirds left. If they aren't saved, they will deteriorate beyond repair and then they will be gone.
