Enact legislation that would require all new firearms to be equipped with biometric devices that would make the weapon operable by only the licensed gun owner to whom it is registered.
This would a) protect gun enthusiasts second amendment rights, as this legislation would not infringe upon a citizens right to bear arms and b) ensure that the weapons equipped with these devices are useless to anyone who is not the registered and licensed owner making it more difficult for guns to be stolen and used for criminal enterprise by would-be criminals.
