Require all new residential housing constructed after 2013 be outfitted with green energy production technology

Created by R.A. on November 12, 2012

We feel that with the growing population and demand on our existing energy infrastructure and resources, as well as the growing detrimental enviromental impact and increasing carbon footprint this population growth will result in, that in order to be enviromentaly, resource and economicaly responsible, that all new single and multi-family residential housing constructed within the 48 contiguous states and Hawaii after 2013 be outfitted during construction with green energy producing technology that will provide a minimum of 70% of the estimated energy needs for the residential structure.

The estimated energy needs being based upon the average total energy consumption of similarly sized residential structures not equiped with green energy producing technology within a 50 mile radius.
