Require all officials who determine the national minimum wage to live a year on minimum wage without any outside funding

All elected officials are setting a nation wide standard without understanding what it means to live by the law they set. To truely understand the effects, they need to have lived and experienced how the masses manage to live and survive on minimum wage. We should require anyone involved in setting the minimum wage to live a year on minimum wage without any other sources of income, funding, or government assistance.
