Require all organized religions to record their earnings to the IRS and pay their fair share of Federal tax.

Created by J.M. on July 02, 2015

Churches not paying property and federal income taxes is filed into that part of our brain marked ‘always been.’ Never mind the conundrum that the most religious are often the most patriotic—what could be less patriotic than not paying your fair share for the good of the country, especially when church structures and those who work for them use the same public utilities as the rest of us.

When people donate to religious groups, it's tax-deductible. Churches don't pay property taxes on their land or buildings. When they buy stuff, they don't pay sales taxes. When they sell stuff at a profit, they don't pay capital gains tax. If they spend less than they take in, they don't pay. They want a say so in our Gov. with out contributing to the cause.
