There seems to be a lack of personal accountability for some police officers. Requiring every police officer to wear a camera may have prevented thousands of complaints against the police, may have limited force used by some officers, and may be used as evidence against/for potential lawsuits against an officer, department, or city. Cameras attached to the officers most recently involved in shooting Andy Lopez in Santa Rosa or shooting Keith Vidal in North Carolina may have prevented the current nightmares those police and their departments are facing. A law like this will hold both police and suspects accountable. It's time to end the questions around events like these. Give America the accountability it deserves.
