I am tired of investing months of my life into making new friends with people only to eventually discover that they don't like Gouda. Or even worse that they love Brie. Upon discovering this I of course have no choice but to terminate the friendship immediately, wasting valuable hours of my life.
I feel that the government of a country I have visited twice has an obligation to ensure that I am not fooled into wasting my time fraternising with people with whom my friendship is inevitably doomed to fail.
