Require all persons applying for the receipt of welfare, food stamps or federal aid to pass a monthly drug screening.

Created by M.S. on November 12, 2012

By requiring welfare and food stamp recipients to pass monthly drug screenings, state governments can assure that assistance is being provided to individuals and familys that TRULY need the help. Money saved by denying applicants who fail their screenings can be used to help meet budget shortfalls. Applicants who fail drug screenings may re-apply for assistance again after three months.
