require all police officers and sheriffs to wear cameras in order to clear up cases of violence on the part of officers.

A number of cases have come up recently in regards to police officer violence on citizens. Police officers wearing cameras while on patrol and responding to calls, at the very least, would provide simple and straightforward evidence in cases of police brutality.

This would also serve to protect officers in cases of violence against an officer.
