I believe far too much money is spent on political campaigns and that money could be put to better use. With this petition I propose that all campaign and political donations over a cumulative amount of $20,000 must be matched with a donation to a vetted charity or humanitarian agency.
Such as: helping a community member pay for medical expenses; saving the local library; a large humanitarian organizations such as UNICEF; Children's Hospital; Volunteer Fire Station; donating to your city for structural repairs; and so on.
Please consider the good this money could do.
