The US constitution is the one document that made the greatest empire in the world. The Greatest empire in return turned it into a "living document" to be twisted to increase the size and scope of government to monstrous proportions.
Require all elected positions not only read but take a multiple choice test to prove they understand the meaning of the constitution and upon failure disqualify themselves from office for life. Any politician enacting a law that is later found unconstitutional is jailed.
Far too long has the Constitution been treated as an annoyance rather the the rule. From "free speech zones" blocks away from political rally's to "shall not be infringed" resulting in 22,000 gun laws across the USA to the NDAA act which can hold a US citizen without trial for eternity.
