require that 'all' Presidential candidates have elected experience as U.S. Senator or State Governor (1 term min.)

Created by N.B. on October 19, 2015

Signers of this petition ask U.S. Lawmakers to amend Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution to add a provision that mandates Presidential candidates have elected experience in the U.S. Senate or as State Governor (1 term min.)

To ensure that the most qualified candidate is eventually elected; we believe that candidates must be limited to individuals that have extended long term sacrifice to improve the quality of life and conditions within the states they represent.

All candidates should demonstrate leadership and abilities that create visible progress for their constituents on a state scale prior to advancing to the national/international scale.
