If professional athletes can be fined by their league for things that the government finds wrong (flipping off the TV, etc) we should then have the leagues find them for something that means something.
The US Flag Code says that members of the military in uniform should face the fag or the direction the music is coming from and give the military salute.
Members of the military not in uniform or veterans may render this salute if they want.
Other persons present should face the flag and stand at attention with their right hand over the heart, and men not in uniform, if applicable, should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart.
