I was unaware of the fact that no laws or regulations exist in our state that requires public school educators/teachers/staff to know CPR & basic life saving skills. Upon learning this, I was appalled. A child who does not (or cannot maintain) an adequate oxygen supply will suffer from hypoxia and that could lead to brain damage in six minutes (at best).
I propose a federal law making it mandatory that all public school staff know CPR & Basic Life Saving Skills!
