Require all public schools to have at least one armed employee on campus at all times while children are present.

With cuts in funding to our schools security and the recent tragedy in Newtown, CT at Sandy Hook Elementary. We peacefully petition the Government of the United States to create a law requiring every public school in the country to have at least one individual in possession of a firearm on campus at all times when children are present. This person must be trained in conflict resolution and licensed to carry a firearm. It is preferred that this individual is a active member of the local police or Sheriffs office. If not practical it may be a teacher or administrator or other staff member.
This individual will be a first line of defense for our children.
