Americans are graduating from high school, and in some cases college, without the necessary skills to; budget home expenses, fill out a check/deposit slip, balance a checkbook, complete a job application, prepare for and attend an interview, complete forms required upon employment, file taxes, register to vote.... etc.
This list is just an example of the task that our youth are not prepared for in order to become productive members of society.
We are responsible for raising prepared, responsible adults. This curriculum would help to stymie the "School to Prison Pipeline", while circumventing childhood poverty.
We will never be able to become a nation that is not on social welfare programs without preparing future generations to succeed.
