Require all public schools to have/employ at least one well armed School Resource Officer on duty during school hours to protect our children from any would be armed assailants or terrorist threats, and to grant federal funding to each school and/or Police Department or Sheriff's Office in the amount of up to $20,000 or no less than half of the S.R.O.'s yearly salary and require the State/School and Law Enforcement Agency, (City and/or County), to match the remaining half of the yearly salary. The S.R.O. salary should be averaged and set by federal law in accordance with all other similar sized schools located in the United States. Private schools should also be required by Federal Law to employ at least one S.R.O. and to allow them some type of significant federal assistance or tax credit
