require all schools to have music education classes and supply adequate funding for said classes.

There has been a disturbing trend in today's society. We are cutting funding from education and are therefore destroying children's futures. When funding for schools is cut, usually the first thing to go is the music classes. I am petitioning for laws similar to section 51210 (e) and 51220(g) of the California education code which states that from grades 1-6 and 7-12, visual and performing arts, including instruction in the subjects of dance, music, theatre, and visual arts, aimed at the development of aesthetic appreciation and the skills of creative expression are required but we the people would like for these laws to be enacted and enforce at a nation wide level. We would also like to have included in this law that all education classes falling under the above be adequately funded.
