require all schools to start the school day at 8:30 a.m.

Created by J.F. on December 09, 2014

Studies have shown that high school students are only getting 6-7 hours of sleep at night when they should be getting at least 8 hours of sleep each night. This is due to schools starting before 8 o'clock and how late these students are going to sleep. Starting school at 8:30 or later will give these students the chance to get at least 8 hours of sleep. This will cause a good effect on their alertness in school
