For decades, the citizens of the United States have witnessed case after case of poliice brutality that have ended in arrest, injury, and even death. These incidents have caused a state of civil unrest, sparking riots, protests, and boycotts in response to them. However, it is time to stop being reactive, and time to start being proactive.
Sign this petition to create a law requiring all state and local officers to wear lapel cameras, allowing us to see and hear exactly what happens at all times while they are on duty. Such supervison will deter officers from possibly abusing their authority and will provide evidence if they do.
