Require all state, county and municipal governments to fully fund their public employee pension obligations.

For far too long, state, county, and municipal governments have been allowed to forego paying their contractually obligated portion of public employee pensions creating a disastrous shortfall within the pension systems. Some lawmakers have tried to correct this through legislation or budgetary practices but failed. We call on the Obama administration to require that these obligations be met by the employers.
