It is an American's civil right to vote. Every voice counts and that right is being taken away from many voters. Caucuses are susceptible to fraud and closed primaries are unfair to voters that may not like any of their party's candidates.
The only way to ensure each American is given a fair vote is to make ALL primaries open. It is also important to allow same-day registration for new voters or voters that are unable to access voting documents or information.
