Require All States to Provide Fertility Health Insurance Coverage to Citizens Who Have Been Diagnosed As Infertile.

Created by L.W. on January 26, 2013

In most states, infertility is not seen as a medical problem. There are millions of women who are unable to get pregnant because of legitimate medical issues. It has been reported that 1 in 6 couples are infertile and that there are 7.5 million people who have received a diagnosis. Only 15 states have laws requiring insurance coverage for fertility treatment.
The average cost of an IVF Cycle is $8,500 which does not include the cost of the medication that is needed. Often time’s couples have to complete two to three IVF Cycles before becoming parents. The average couple cannot afford to pay out of pocket for an IVF Cycle & is desperate for help.
Loving couples deserve the chance to be parents & experience looking into the eyes of their precious little one.
