The United States of America needs to teach our younger generation that it is okay to be proud of our country and speak a "pledge" or "oath" in support of the nation.
This helps our country to:
1. Renew our own nationalism
2. Stand unified even though we want to separate church and state.
3. Since students of our public schools come from different religious backgrounds, allow the student to say their Gods name without harassment (whether it be God, Allah, Buddha, or none.)
We do not need further division in our country. We need to get together again. Saying the pledge of allegiance will restore pride instead of individualism.
