Require all Teachers to Take Special Education Courses

Created by J.C. on July 25, 2013

Often times children in Special Education have teachers who do not provide them with the proper accommodations needed for them to succeed in the class. Having teachers take Special Education courses would help them to see that these children need accommodations added to the learning environment to succeed. Going through these courses would also cause both the teachers and the Special Education teachers to have a better work relationship with eachother; this would allow for a better environment for the student to transfer from one class to the other. Both the Special Education teachers and the other teachers would be working together to help the child fourish in school. Finally, this would provide the child with a learning environment that would allow them to succeed in their academics.
