A common characterization of those on welfare is that they simply use the money to buy drugs. If so, this is a startling trend that must be remedied. This petition also promotes a sense of fairness and common sense. If American workers must take a drug test to hold a job, pay taxes, and pay for welfare, then those receiving the benefits should have to do the same.
