All TSA employees should be former military or reserve men and women. The TSA screening is one of the most important tools America has to assist in stopping air related terrorist attacks. Former service men and women are highly trained and much more capable of performing the duties required of a TSA employee than the average person hired out of the general population. The airport screening process would, in turn, become more efficient and more effective.
